SLITTA - Very First Hygienic Tested Garment Factory in Sri Lanka
The Sri Lanka Institute of Textiles and Apparel oversees hygiene regulations for both imported and locally produced garments in the domestic market. In line with this, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce introduced a certification initiative on 27th December 2019 to acknowledge apparel manufacturers that maintain high hygiene standards. We are proud to have been recognized as the first company to receive certification under this program. The Certificate of Ensuring the Safety of Children's Clothing was issued under the authority of our Managing Director, Mr. D. Dulan Darshana, and was officially awarded to Mr. M. D. Gnanapala by the Honorable Minister, Mr. Wimal Weerawansa.
